Paragliding

The Chalet is located only 15 minutes drive from the famous Mieussy take-off. You can keep an eye on the take-off from the balcony, with a pair of binoculars you can even check the wind sock! You can also fly from the mountain behind the chalet. Most of the other flying sites are no more than 45 minutes drive away. These include Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, Samoens, Flaine and Le Grand Bornand etc.The furthest is Chamonix that is reached by motorway in 1 hour.

Hang-gliding

Hang-gliders are also very welcome. The chalet has a large garage in which pilots are welcome to store their hang-gliders when not in use. Mieussy offers a good sized landing field at "La Ferme".

Organisation

For those who would appreciate a guide, we have partnered with a local school that knows the area inside out. We are very flexible and can organise a full week with a guide or just a day or two or if you prefer you can do it all yourself. They also offer light paralpinism for those who want to access more remote landscapes and take-offs.
